Acne Treatment
Acne is a very common condition that affects approximately 85% of the population between the ages of 12 and 24.
Saying “It’s just teenage acne, it will go away” is not entirely accurate. Early treatment can help reduce the severity of acne and also minimize the likelihood of scarring.
Additionally, nowadays, we are seeing more cases of adult acne. Acne that appears after the age of 24 is considered “adult acne.” In adult acne, hormonal factors must be excluded first. If no underlying hormonal or other medical condition is found, the treatment is purely dermatological.
In acne treatment, I enjoy exploring and using alternative methods alongside the well-known traditional treatments (topical, oral medications, etc.), and it is one of my main areas of interest.
