When is the effect of Botox seen?
Although it varies depending on the person and the area applied, botox starts to work 2-3 days after the application. However, it takes 10-14 days for it to fit and work completely. Therefore, if our clients to whom we apply Botox need an additional dose, it is administered after 2 weeks. Interventions made before 2 weeks may be excessive or unnecessary. Therefore, we ask our clients to be patient for 2 weeks to see the full result.
What are the things to consider after Botox?
It is recommended not to take a hot shower on the first day after Botox, to stay away from environments such as saunas and Turkish baths, not to massage the applied area, etc., to avoid heavy sports activities that cause sweating, and to avoid lying face down that day.
How Long Does Botox Last?
Botox duration varies depending on the person's muscle strength, body weight and genetic factors, but it lasts approximately 3-4 months on average. However, it is also known that it occurs less frequently in a 10% group.

Botox Application Areas
Forehead Botox : Horizontal lines on the forehead that occur due to facial expressions or aging are called 'forehead lines'..

Forehead botox is the most effective cosmetic application that we use most frequently in forehead rejuvenation, especially the majority of the upper face area. Forehead botox is used both for prevention of wrinkles that will occur in this area and for treatment purposes to eliminate existing wrinkles.

In case of deep wrinkles, wrinkles may not disappear completely with a single application of Botox, but they are quite comfortable. With repeated and timely botox applications, wrinkles will be opened better each time. If there are deep wrinkles despite repeated botox applications, we also benefit from filling applications. After forehead botox, forehead lines decrease and disappear, and a brighter appearance is achieved on the forehead.

Brow Botox
Vertical lines form between the eyebrows due to the frowning movement. Some people are prone to frowning due to problems such as excessive muscle strength, sensitivity to the sun, and astigmatism, and the line between the eyebrows may appear at an earlier age.
The line between the eyebrows makes the person look tougher and more angry than she actually is.

Botox is applied to prevent the formation of the line between the eyebrows or to treat the line that has formed. In very deep, settled lines, when botox alone is not enough, filler application can also be added. Generally, the first three botox treatments are applied every 4-6 months and the opening in the deep line is evaluated, and if the line is still deep and prominent, regional filling can be applied. However, in half of the patients, botox alone can be effective without resorting to fillers.

Crow's Feet Botox
The eye area is one of the areas on our face where we use our facial expressions most frequently. Wrinkles around the eyes, which we call crow's feet wrinkles, appear from an early age. The first area where we see signs of aging on our face and the area that begins to wrinkle at the earliest is our eye area. We often apply Botox around the eyes to reduce or prevent crow's feet wrinkles. Thanks to crow's-foot botox, rejuvenation is achieved around the eyes and deeper wrinkles can be prevented in later ages. When performing this application, we aim to prevent wrinkles while allowing smiling so that we can get a natural result.

Nose Botox
Botox is applied to reduce wrinkles in the nose area that occur with the pulling movement of the nose, 'bunny lines', 'rabbit lines' and if the tip of the nose falls when smiling.
Especially if the rabbit line is prominent, a much more natural result is obtained when applied together with upper face botox.

If the tip of the nose falls due to muscle movement while smiling, botox is applied to the muscle that pulls the tip of the nose down to reduce the fall. If the tip point (tip) of the nose is extremely low, better results are obtained when applied with filler.

Lip Botox
Vertical lines around the lips, especially in smokers, people who talk a lot, people with active muscles around the lips, or age-related, are called 'barcode lines'.

We apply botox around the lips to remove barcode lines on the lips or prevent them from progressing further. While botox alone is sufficient for light lines, filler application can be applied together with botox for very deep lines or skin with reduced elasticity.

Chin (masseter) Botox
In the chin area; The masseter muscle, our jaw muscle that we use when we clench our teeth or eat, may be stronger in some people due to involuntary teeth clenching, stress-related or predisposition. Because of this excessive force in the jaw (masseter) muscle, these people may experience symptoms such as a feeling of tension in the jaw when they wake up in the morning, headache, and damage and loss of teeth. For cosmetic purposes, when viewed from the outside, a cornering of the chin and a widening of the face can be observed compared to before. When the excessive strength of the jaw muscle reaches a level that disturbs the person, masseter botox application is recommended for health purposes.

With the application of botox to the masseter muscle, excessive strength of the muscle is prevented. Muscle strength is not completely destroyed, normal eating etc. activities continue. The masseter muscle is a large muscle and it may take 2-4 weeks for botox to show its full effect. In the presence of very strong masseter muscle, masseter botox application provides a permanent 50% improvement when applied once in 3 consecutive months. After 3 applications, the application intervals can be opened and it can be done at longer intervals than every 6 months.

Migraine Botox
Migraine is a disorder characterized by severe headaches that greatly affects the quality of life. Botox treatment can be used when migraine becomes chronic and does not respond to other drug treatments. Botox treatment for migraine is a treatment method approved by the FDA. It has been shown that migraine botox works by relaxing the contraction of the muscles at the trigger points where migraine occurs, affecting the communication between muscles and nerves, reducing nerve stimulation and stimulation of migraine attacks.
Migraine attacks; It can be experienced in the temple, forehead, nape and neck area. Application areas vary depending on the area attacked.

Very small needles are used in migraine botox and the pain during the procedure is almost non-existent. We start to see the effect of migraine botox on the 3rd day at the earliest and see its full effect at the end of 2 weeks. Migraine botox can be applied at intervals of 3 to 6 months.

Generally, the application result is seen more clearly after 2 sessions.

Application intervals may vary depending on the frequency of a person's migraine attacks and follow-ups.

Neck Decollete Botox
In the neck area, the muscle called platysma, which starts from the face and extends to the neck and décolleté area, is sometimes very active and causes vertical lines and bands to form in the neck area. Thanks to the application applied to this muscle in the neck area, rejuvenation can be achieved in the neck area by reducing the band and tense appearance that occurs due to muscle movement in the neck. Nefertiti is also known as botox. The application is performed with very small needles and is repeated approximately every six months.

Sweating Botox
Botox is used in the treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhydros) by reducing the sweating stimulus in the eccrine sweat glands. Sweating botox is used in the treatment of armpit sweating and hand and foot sweating.

Armpit Sweating Botox
Botox application is used in the treatment of armpit sweating to improve the quality of life in people who have excessive sweating in the armpit or who complain about armpit sweating. Botox temporarily reduces sweat gland secretion in the sweat glands under the armpit.

We see the effect of sweating botox within 3 to 10 days. In order not to reduce the effect of Botox on the first day after the application, avoid taking extremely hot showers and using alcohol-containing perfumes, deodorants, etc. We do not want its use. Although it varies from person to person, the duration of use of sweating botox is 4-6 months. Generally, application once a year before the summer months is sufficient. However, it is also applied twice a year for patient groups who sweat excessively or are satisfied with the increase in their quality of life and want to spend most of the year without excessive sweating.

Underarm sweating botox is a very comfortable treatment method that improves the quality of life.

Hand-Foot Sweating Botox
For those who complain of excessive sweating in their hands and feet, botox is applied for therapeutic purposes to reduce the sweat secretion in the sweat glands in the hands and feet area. However, botox for hand and foot sweating is a very painful procedure and works less effectively than the results of botox for underarm sweating.
Before the application, local anesthetic is applied and then botox is applied.

The duration of hand and foot sweating botox is shorter than the armpit application and may last several months depending on the person's sweating status. Therefore, it is more recommended in patients who do not respond to other treatments.
